Pleased you're pleased.
‘What on earth is this?’ I said to myself having accidentally come across the station whilst going through the DAB dial. ‘This sounds like a station I could listen to’ albeit from time to time as the music-based programmes outweighed the speech-based ones in terms of my preference.
StedroyI can't Thank you enough for a very moving but celebratory show. I must admit you moved me to tears, but it was a fitting tribute and I appreciate you acknowledging his powerful and creative influence, not just within the UK but the entire music industry worldwide.

Does Colourful engage with the community?
Yes, we do, through our programming and in support of community initiatives.
For over five years, our original programme, The Voices of Windrush, hosted by journalist Sinai Fleary and Windrush Campaigner Prof Patrick Vernon OBE, shed light on 'The Windrush Scandal'; sought to provide useful pointers to help those adversely affected seek justice; and celebrated the legacy of the Windrush generation. For the entire period, Colourful provided the only broadcast platform dedicated to the scandal.
We also partner with cultural events, festivals, and projects that align with our mission to uplift and inspire. We've supported hundreds of community-focused organisations and activities from their inception, including Rumfest, Afro Hair and Beauty Show, Africa On The Square (now, Black On The Square), Windrush Day, UK Black Business Show, African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT), Apprentice Fair, Jamaica Basic Schools Foundation, The Black Baby Show, Ghana Party In The Park, British Urban Film Festival, Onelove Festival, African and Caribbean Armed Forces Day, Africa Centre Summer Festival, African Concert Series, London Pan African Film Festival, Windrush Caribbean Film Festival, One Africa Festival, University Gospel Choir Of The Year, Curly Treats Festival, Wandsworth Jobs Fair, Lambeth Jobs Fair, South London Jobs Fair, London Jobs Fair, Africa Utopia, GUBA Awards, Africa Fashion Week London, Lambeth Country Show, and more.
I'm having problems tapping in!
I can’t hear the station on DAB. What should I do?
Try rescanning your radio. If issues continue, check our coverage map or listen online.
Why is there a delay between the DAB broadcast and the online stream?
Online streams have a small delay (about 5 seconds) due to internet processing, which is perfectly normal for all digital stations.
Do I need an account to listen online?
No. Click “LISTEN” on any of our websites.
If all else fails?
We've got you! Email support@colourful.com, and we will get you listening before long.
